The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a four-year undergraduate degree where its main goal is to serve humanity via clinical therapy while maintaining the values of compassion, caring, and tolerance. Most institutions offer a four-year programme that includes one year as a junior staff nurse. Individuals and society are the focus of the course, which focuses on acquiring, maintaining, and regaining optimal well-being and personal happiness. 

To pursue this programme, applicants must have the basic qualification requirements, such as a 50 percent or higher in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology disciplines. The degree offers two alternatives for course study: BSc Nursing (Basic) and BSc Nursing (Advanced) (Post-Basic).

Eligibility

To undertake this degree, a candidate must achieve a 50 percent aggregate score in science in higher secondary school. One can choose between two courses: B. Sc. (Fundamental) and B.Sc. (Post-Basic), with the following certification measures: 

Candidates for BSc (Basic) Admission must have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and be medically fit. 

Candidates for BSc (Post-Basic) admission must have completed 10+2 in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). A testament in GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) is required, as is registration with the State Nurses Registration Council as an RNRM (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife).

Details of Admission Process

Admission to this programme is determined by the results of the admission tests as well as merit. The majority of BSc Nursing admissions are made on the basis of entrance exams taken in the months of April and June. Candidates can apply for admissions by filling out an application form either online or offline.
